Frieren may be one of the most powerful mages alive, but it’s her dry humor, endless curiosity, and hilariously relaxed attitude that make her so much fun to watch. Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End has incredible fights, a lovable cast, and plenty of laughs—all wrapped inside a surprisingly heartfelt adventure.

Powerful, adorable, and always willing to risk it all for a potentially rare spell, Frieren is an easy choice for this month’s favorite.
